I often use the term "orphan" in reference to any and
all all OS software                                   
                                                      
                                                      
                                                      
                                                      
                                                      
                                              released
before OS X. and I use the term "Classic" in reference
to the mode in which OS 9 operates under OS X - and
for me this useage works
