Hey Raino,

No problem...

I have comcra.... er, comcast and a houseful of macs and peecees coexisting
on the network. There is a 1-port router feeding an 8 port and 3 five port
switches. There is an iMac, an iBook, Powerbook G3, a 7100/80 and a B&W all
cooperating with some PC's. Most of the systems are set up to use DHCP...
'specially the 'books.
File sharing is turned on for most of the crowd and I can share files across
most of the machines. The wintels are running windoze 2000, the 7100 8.5.1,
the Powerbook 10.2.8, and the other macs 10.3.9. I've used gimp print to
share the pc server's inkjet printer.
My roomie and I do a lot of file transfers with web sites and graphics work
and having the macs and peecees together is no problem at all.

Amanda
