I have a Beige G3 and I'm running a Rage 128 card that came out of a blue and white G3 with no problems... when I got the card all I did was put it in, connect the monitor to it, and turn it on, and it booted fine. I have since installed OS X Panther using XPostFacto. OS 9.2.2 flies and Panther isn't bad, not fast, but it's definitely usable.
