I've used PayPal for 2-3 years as an eBay buyer but just recently started using it for selling as I clean out closet after closet. I've had no problems so far but it takes 3-4 business days for the money to go from my PayPal account to my bank account. My theory is they do that to everybody on purpose to make a ton on interest. Electronic money transfers these days take microseconds so the only explanation is that they have an account which contains tens of millions of dollars to be transferred - or more - that collects interest for several days before the transfer actually happens.
I've never fallen for the phishing scams for PayPal and the various banks etc. that I do or don't have accounts with - the fraudulent nature of these scams is intuitively obvious to the most casual observer. But I ALWAYS help out those poor folks in Ethiopia and other places that want me to help them get their $30,000,000 out of the country (which is held illegally by some corrupt government). They always give me a very reasonable and profitable percentage. All I have to do is provide them with my name, address, phone number, SS#, DOB, mother's maiden name, my place of birth, a photocopy of my birth certificate, my pets name, bank account info including all PIN's and passwords, and all of my credit card info. So what's the harm? I don't even go to work anymore cause I make so much money doing this. This morning - true story - I discovered that I won a Coca-Cola giveaway in the UK and I'm about to collect £600,000. All I have to do is send then the aforementioned info. I am so lucky! It's better than Vegas! With all this money I'm making I'm thinking of taking the entire G-list to Aruba on an all-expenses-paid week-long vacation since y'all have been so helpful when I've had MacProblems.
