There's nothing like a filthy keyboard, eh? All that finger grunge...
I have cleaned ADB keyboards with water and dishwashing detergent eg Palmolive. Works just fine. But be sure to RINSE the KB repeatedly in warm running water to remove all traces of detergent. Also it is best to strip off the case before washing.
Dry them thoroughly, then LET THEM SIT FOR DAYS in a drafty area to allow moisture trapped in switches 7 crevices to evaporate... this is VITAL.
It is also best to blow them out with compressed air to remove hair etc. compressed air will also help drying, but does not remove the necessity of allowing days of air drying!
Perhaps putting it in an oven at very low heat will accomplish the same result.
NEVER! Even the lowest heat, with oven door open, will warp or melt any computer plastics.
