OK yes electrolytes are intentionally added to the tank every time the water 
is changed.  And im certain theres ammonia in my tank.  Anyway I have 
completely dried it, and it still doesnt work.  im just not sure if its the 
plastic 
pieces or the circuit board that has gone bad.  Unfortunately the Apple Store i 
bought it from kept me on hold longer than I could stand today.  I really hope 
this doesnt cost me more than the long drive back to the store.  And I am 
assuming it is the circuit board that has gone bad because the rest of the 
keyboard is just so simple and appears as though it should be functional.
