Hey everybody,

Thanks to all of you who replied with suggestions to my "Formerly 
bootable CD won't boot" problem. As it happened, all of you who said that 
CDs do in fact deteriorate with "old age" were right. I made a copy of 
one of the CDs and it booted my G3 right up. I'm not going to copy the 
other one at this point because I don't REALLY need TWO boot CDs, but if 
I ever do, I know what to do now.
