Too bad, that should have worked.

My guess is that you need to pull the PRAM battery off the motherboard overnight, press the Cuda switch for 15 seconds or so, replace the PRAM battery and press the Cuda switch once. If the original processor and jumper set are in place, you should be fine.

I've had to do this to revive my 7600 after trying to install OSX, and my Beige G3 after trying to install OSX 10.3.
