Hi folks, need some guru assistance:

So far, I would say my experience with AGP G4s is less than stellar - are
they always this finicky?

Twice now, I have successfully installed and updated a Panther OS on this
machine (G4/600mhz), only to be met with a blue screen of death (the desktop
does not mount after the status-bar OS X pane is finished) with the
calibrated pinwheel going round and round.

Zapping PRAM proves ineffectual, as does re-setting the board, and following
the Kbase suggestions on such a situation.

Both situations occurred after a failed install off of an Apple retail DVD,
the first of iLife 05, the second of a Garage Jam-pack install.

Any wisdom, advice?

Thanks in advance,
Dana
