I have Panther on my iMac/333 and it runs noticibly better than it did with 10.2. I keep 10.2 on my Beige/233 since thats where Apple made the cut off for that machine. I used to use Xpostfacto and OS9helper to get OS's to work on machines that weren't made for it but usually there were some things that came up so I decided to just stick with what Apple planned for each machine. So my 3400 is 9.1, Beige G3 is 10.2, iMac is Panther and iBookG4 is Tiger.
