Glad you fixed it! By the way, you could have used Textedit to edit the
file; the editing doesn't have to happen inside Terminal
I think I have it fixed! I've been listening to uninterrupted music
for about 30 minutes now, playing on my P4. For anyone else
experiencing this particular problem, the solution is quite simple.
Simply edit the /etc/smb.conf file using Terminal and a suitable text
editor. I used vi as it was the only thing available on my 10.2.6
machine...
