I am using one of these printers with a sawtooth machine and OS 10.3.9. Connect it to an ethernet switch then connect your machine to the same switch. You will need an adapter to connect the RJ45 ethernet connector to the printer. I have plenty if you need. You should be able to use the print and fax icon under system preferences to add the printer.
