My LW Select 360 has localtalk, parallel and serial connectors. The
Pro 630 has all of those and ethernet.

OK, as someone asked earlier, Is it really that simple? Yes it
is. I purchased a USB to parallel cable, hooked it up to my G4
MDD, opened Word and typed Test, selected print and added the new
printer. The process walked me through everything. It is working
fine, except for one problem that doesn't have anything to do with
the hookup. For some reason, 24 lb. paper hangs about half way
through the process of coming out, while 20 lb. paper works just
fine. Is there a setting someone inside the printer itself that
can eliminate this problem?
Thanks,
George
So, these LaserWriters do have parallel ports, then, not serial
ports? I thought someone said that the USB-to-parallel adapter
cable <http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009K34M2/sr=1-1/
qid=1138478101/ref=sr_1_1/104-7678271-4071923?%5Fencoding=UTF8>
wouldn't work because the LaserWriters had serial, not parallel ports.
