Once you have a great name established, it really doesn't pay to 
change it much.  From the last WWDC, folx commented that Apple's 
banners talked about "OS X", not "Mac OS X".  Maybe that was their 
subtle hint of things to come.

We *know* OS X works on PowerPC, Intel x86 (Core), and ARM.  If Apple 
were to add AMD's x86 flavour,,, they could put out a smacking good 
retail kit!
