I've been having some issues with my G4 DA; It will not sleep
properly:
When I click on sleep from the Apple menu while logged in it will go
to sleep, but the monitor will not wake up. Now, lately, when in the
log in window, I click on sleep and it will go to sleep, but the
intenal fan will
keep running and it wakes up properly. I've gotten no help from Apple
on this on their forums.
I've tried changing from two different CRT monitors and changed from
different compatible GPUs and nothing seems to work properly.
Otherwise the System runs like a champ! I've upgraded the RAM to max
out
of 1.5 GB.

It also has been upgraded to a 800 MHz powerlogix, which runs awesome!
It has the Radeon AGP retail, 32 MB.
Any suggestions as to what may be the problem? The only thing I can
guess is the issue is the power on button
assembly may be going out? Another issue I thought may be the internal
fan was replaced and may not be compatible because I hooked it up to
the 4 pin molex bus? Power of the fan?
Any help will be appreciated, I do everything with this Mac in OS 9
and 10.3.9!

Thank you!
Mike
