Well, I've about thrown in the towel on this. I've replaced the scythe fan with the original and set everything correctly and when I put the system to sleep I got a kernel panic upon wake. The only things I can imagine may be the problem is the power supply or the processor? I don't get it. If the CPU is the problem, why wouldn't there be more serious problems?
BTW, where can I find service repair parts manuals for Macs with the listed specs of everything on the model including the part numbers? Thanks if anyone can help!!! I wonder if the power supply isn't the correct model for my DA or it's dying very slowly. My DA will just have to be an insomniac. -Mike --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
