Kris --- and everyone else who has responded (thank you!) --- I just
got the specs for the iMac:

Lime Green iMac
Model: PowerMac 2.1
CPU Type: Power PC 750 (83.0)
Processor: 400 MHz PowerPC G3
Memory: 512 MB SDRAM
Hard Drive: 10 gig
Ports: 2 USB
        Firewire 400
        Ethernet

So it DOES have Firewire and a Tiger CD copy would work.
