I'll check this. Thanks for the hint.

My other G5, a Late 2005 model (PowerMac11,2), also 2.0 GHz (Dual Core) didn't 
have this behaviour. Both models are air cooled.

I'll get to it as soon as I can. I don't have a vacuum can at hand. I'll get
