Thanks Richard I agree. It is a small monitor but is heavy enough to put a lot 
of sheer stress on the small plastic neck that is only about 4mm x 10mm. --But 
I was looking for a good epoxy for a different project maybe JB Weld is the way 
to go.


I may take Brian's easel or Roger's  tripod suggestions and check out the local 
retail outlets for such a devices. The wall mount is out since I only use the 
monitor to check out newly acquired used Mac's. And as suggested I may place an 
ad in the local Craig's List or FreeCycle for a broken Studio Display but I 
don't think they are that common around here.


Most likely it will quicker an easier for me to just make some sort of easel or 
tripod like device from left over wood hanging around the shop. It won't be 
pretty but it should work. I thought since the support base on these monitors 
are fragile and prone to break from boneheads moves like the one I did that the 
replacement parts would be available.
