Hi Thomas, Well I've read some of this whole debate with quite a bit of dismay. Not on your part you're doing no more or less than what you can do. It was only a matter of time before someone clicked on to people making clones of games. It was never a question of whether it would happen it was always a question of when. I'm not saying whether it's right or wrong, I'm purely saying that it was a matter of time.
As for the side scroler vs the fps type games, well you'll never have a clear winner there because you'll always get those who favour 1 or other. And this is the problem people ill always have. Personally I haven't played a good side scroler for years and would enjoy seeing what you come up with. So I will weight and see what you come up with before I pass judgement. But I do have to say that I am rather dismayed at the immature responses that people have given out on this list of late. I mean come on guys if this was a mainstream gaming forum the majority of you would have been told to shut up or be banned. So think yourselves lucky that you're still on this list.
