Hi, That is because Flash is an exclusive product of Adobe Inc. Their flash development IDES, and licenses to use the Flash programming language is extremely expensive. Last I checked it was something like $300 USD for a single user license. The programming languages I usually use such as C-Sharp, Java, and C++ all have free IDEs, compilers, and documentation I can use on Mac, Linux, and Windows without being tied to one single company.
