Smile. Actually, that is one advantage of using the web setup tool. It is much much smaller. The setup file is like 1 MB or there abouts, and it downloads only what is needed from the internet. So depending on what you exactly need you might need a couple of MB of stuff or the entire 300 MB. Just depends on how out of date your directX install is. Good thing here is the setup can be packed with the game if necessary since it is so small.
