Hi, I think he was referring to the number of ports that would be filled with the mouse, joystick, midi keyboard, and everything else. But I have to agree; what does all that stuff have to be connected for?

My laptop is in a similar situation. However, the most practical answer to that problem is to simply unhook whatever it is you are not using and hook up your game controller.
