Hi Shaun, Sometimes I don't know why I bother reading your posts. The below post is absolutely ridiculous, and not everyone would agree with your negative and condescending attitude of the Windows games.
You say everyone including sighted people think the Windows games are crap. That's false. My mom has spent many happy hours playing the games that comes with Windows, my grandma spent many hours playing those games, and my wife plays them once and a while. I'm cert another sighted people play them too. Just because you think they suck, are crap, doesn't mean the rest of the world thinks that way. Why would someone want to play them? I don't know Shaun. Maybe because they are there, they come with the computer, and some people are interested in trying them out. Maybe people just want a quick simple game now and then. You say the Windows games are not accessible and are junk. The games for Windows 7 are accessible, and are updated versions of those that came with XP. They certainly aren't worth the cost of a Windows upgrade, but since they are there I am glad Microsoft has at least considered to make their products blind user friendly even if I only play with them once in a while. Finally, you say the games from Spoonbill, Jim Kitchen, etc are better. Granted, that's true, but that is beside the point. We pay for the Microsoft software to be on our computers and somewhere, no matter how small, the cost of those games are included in the cost of the upgrade etc. Why not get something accessible for your money instead of relying on a third-party developer to supply what is already there? Cheers!
