I've been using it for many months but I guess no one liked it. Probably because it included another feature: >included originally some "multi host" which has since been dropped but that >might be also for an interesting enhancement if filed independently. Yes, I will submit this separately. But since code overlaps with above, Not sure if it should be against trunk or against trunk + above. I guess either way might work. >> bz#184 show and zoom 4 reports on the current grid > >originally only meant to add zoom capabilities to the reports in the grid >view but now includes also : > >* showing 4 reports in grid view instead of 2 Yes, I like to see cpu and network at the grid level. Navigation is unchanged. Click a source graph to drill down to that grid or cluster, as before. Click a grid graph to zoom, instead of reloading the same grid page. >> bz#193 put averages on all graphs and min/max on metric graphs > >originally this bug was meant to add a "utilization" report and so the >averages and min/max are not part of the same functionality (min/max could >fit >well as part of BUG37 though) Ok, but my point in adding to the existing bug is that this is an alternate, and maybe more efficient, way to accomplish the goal. If you put the data on the graph, then you probably don't need more rrdtool execs and PHP to put it in the HTML. In other words, you might be able to revert the original patch if you just put the statistics directly on the graphs. And in doing it this way, we get statistics about all graphs, not just one. But it is just an idea. -twitham ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Ganglia-developers mailing list Ganglia-developers@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ganglia-developers
