Hah, here it was, the word I was waiting for :-)

Well, what you were describing here until now sounds very much like a
wiki to me. Not very long ago in a related universe such a wiki
projekt started and has easily become the number one resource for
... emacs lisp. When I first came across http://www.emacswiki.org
there wasn't much content and look at it now.

Oh, and, please, don't point to cliki which is limited to free stuff
and features a quite weak engine underneath. Having an oddmuse-like
lisp wiki engine would be a winner, starting with oddmuse itself might
be worth a try (no flames, please :-), but going wiki seems a must
to me. It might happen that lispniks.org becomes the thing I expected
when I first found cliki.

I will stay tuned to this list and listen eagerly.

PS: Long time emacs lisp user and common lisp watcher who finally
started with cl after reading Peters book (the dead tree edition, of
course) in early 2005. Yes, there are people still coming to this
language ;-). I was lucky in that my employer paid for a two days
workshow with Edi, and that combined with the movies that came up at
the same time helped a lot getting through the beginning stages. Just
to introduce myself.

a blessed +42 regexp of confusion (weapon in hand)
You hit. The format string crumbles and turns to dust.
