Well as an experienced newbie i like sites which are a one-stop
information palace. As i see it  a lot of people will dig up a lot of
information over the course of this project, i'd say let the directory
or whatever ride the wave of enthusiasm. If everybody would chip in a
bit and add what he/she finds or knows to the information-body, this
thing would grow quite fast.
