Brandon was a unanimous All-American. He led all linebackers in tackles, and tied (or what pretty close) to leading the nation in tackles among all players. I thought that he deserved to be National Defensive Player of the year. If he has another year like this year, he may well earn that honor next year. If so, he would join Wilber and Youngblood as the only defensive players in the Ring of Honor.
