You will recall that one of the things that attracted Tebow to the NFL was the prospect of money that could be used for mission. If he's a third or fourth round pick, there's less money there. As the highest profile college athlete, he is raising lots of money for the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association. He doesn't have to ask for money--it's just the fact that his mission work gets huge media exposure and that brings in lots more donations to his dad's mission. If he's a bench warmer in the NFL, it's just not the same kind of exposure. The money equation of NFL third rounder vs college super star may be more equal than people realize in his case because of his unique circumstances . Of course if he becomes the next Peyton Manning, that's a different story.
