Yeah, I was one of those. I left Gatortalk during that time and didn’t come back for a couple of years. Although I’ve never joined THFGT, I am more than grateful that it was created to give an outlet for those who want it while leaving Gatortalk as a group of friends who just want to talk about the Gators. It is SO much better now, and I appreciate how the members themselves recognize when something is approaching the line and suggest moving a topic to THFGT.

The big meltdown between P,D and Jim Swofford occurred on Gatortalk in 2000 after I assumed the admin duties and was forced to ban Jim. We lost quite a few subscribers who just got tired of reading hate mail between them, and although P,D wasn't banned, he left due to being "chastised".
