The big meltdown between P,D and Jim Swofford occurred on Gatortalk in 2000 after I assumed the admin duties and was forced to ban Jim. We lost quite a few subscribers who just got tired of reading hate mail between them, and although P,D wasn't banned, he left due to being "chastised". I thought THFGT went back even further than that, though. When Steve, Mike, Frank and P,D were around? We had some great and way too HFGT discussions in those days. :-) Cee ----- Original Message ----- From: Gatornet Admin To: gatortalk@googlegroups.com Sent: Sunday, September 13, 2009 9:51 AM Subject: [gatortalk] Re: You could hear a pin drop The archive goes back to Oct of 2000, and the discussion at that time was Bush & Gore. The older archives (1999 and early 2000) were lost when Gator Country asked us to find a new home and moved us off of their server. Are those early days archived, Randy? It might be fun to go back and read them. But then I'd have to sub to THFGT and then I'd get sucked into current discussions and then I'd get even less sleep because I'd be lying awake at night thinking of ways to express my passion and wildness. ;-) Cee ----- Original Message ----- From: Gatornet Admin To: gatortalk@googlegroups.com Sent: Saturday, September 12, 2009 7:46 AM Subject: [gatortalk] Re: You could hear a pin drop Cee is VERY experienced on THFGT. Those of you that weren't on THFGT in the early days only THINK you know Cee. When she gets passionate about a subject in a "no holds barred" forum, she is a wild woman! And I say that with the utmost respect, cuz she knows I love her! :) Randy ----- Original Message ----- From: Gatorrrrrr To: gatortalk@googlegroups.com Sent: Saturday, September 12, 2009 6:48 AM Subject: [gatortalk] Re: You could hear a pin drop Moi?
