Steve's comments about Meyer and the disorganization at practice make a lot
of sense to me.
Ultimately the buck stops with Meyer because he is the head coach. If I am
remembering correctly, Pat Dooley said before the season that he did not
expect Meyer to last more than one or two years. Meyer can see perfectly
well that things aren't working. The question is whether he can find the
right people to whom to delegate his way of doing things and that they can
execute as he would have done. So far the answer is no. Having team
leadership like Tebow and Spikes no doubt made up for some coaching lapses
in the past.

Regarding Dan Mullen--Yes, he did what it took to win Saturday night and you
have to respect him for that. However, if the Gators had run the same exact
plays with the same exact result while Mississippi State ran the Gators'
plays with the Gators' results, I submit to you that the Gator fans would
not be saying nice things about their offensive play calling.

I'm glad they (and we) have a week off.
