I think expectations were low at the beginning of the season, but after we won four games, people started getting excited. It seemed obvious to me that Demps and Rainey would not be able to continue sprinting through (or around) the line against tougher defenses. Now maybe the coaches have realized that too. I actually think some good could come of this mess. If Jacoby Brissett is the QB of our future, it's a great idea to get him meaningful game action now when we can all agree that we are not going to win the SEC championship. Think of it as like the Broncos giving Tim Tebow a chance now that their season is pretty much lost. Maybe Jacoby will be really good by the time we play FSU and we can pull out a victory to make us feel better in the offseason. Of course it would be even better if he could get in the groove in time for Georgia. The lines definitely do need to get better, but I'm not ready to blame the coaches this early. Now if we can't get beat Vandy, that's another issue.
