That was my point also. Everything you read talks about how low our
scholarship numbers are. Our intentions were to obviously sign more but
when we struck out on some of the big names there was no backup plan
except for the WR out of Tallahassee.

If I had 8 more slots available, I would have been trying to fill my
class with some of those guys whom my coaches and their HS coaches
thought had that potential, like that lightweight OL recruit we did
sign. We need bodies for the OL. I'd leave a few spots open, but not
eight.

My understanding is the 6 EE's were counted against last years class
which was also small. We could have signed up to 8 more players
yesterday unless my premise is wrong.
