Yes, this was not really a great move from Freescale/NXP.

Sorry, maybe my subject was a bit misleading. My intention was not to bring
back the PowerPC SPE port as an official mainline GCC port. We definitely don't
have the funding for this. I was hoping to get in contact with an individual or
a company which may help us to get it from GCC 8 to a newer version.
