I've only had a very quick look at your code, but I have a feeling that this is an instance of the kind of slip-up with GO_IF_MODE_DEPENDENT_ADDRESS that my patch at http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2006-08/msg00858.html is aimed at preventing. (This patch is currently only applied to addrmodes branch.) Mark
