I have heard that that is mainly a problem for fully aquatic amphibians. Correct me if
I
am wrong but isn't rain water and dew basically distilled water and pure h2o? As long
as
it closely matches rain water in ph and purity it should be good for animals that get
their water from raindrops or morning dew. For my dart frog's water bowls I use RO
bottled
water that has small amounts of added minerals. I am no water expert but I have not had
any problems.
