Distilled water is pure water. It is made by taking plain, for the sake of argument let's say tap water, and bringing it to the boiling point. Once steam is formed, it collects in the distillery and condenses to be water again. The impurities are left behind because they have a higher boiling point than that of water. I refer to impurities ans anything besides water molecules- ie minerals. I am glad to discuss the different types of water and pros/cons but I am afraid of boring people. AMY
