Where's the first port of call in offering to help out with this/be a contributor? I previously worked at Inktomi on Traffic Server (some years ago though now), and so know what the internals used to work like and basic underlying ideas, configuration/deployment, trouble shooting etc. I've also been around the block on the open source world (though not in the apache world), so though maybe new to this particular process, not new to this in general.
