Hi, Justin I think you misunderstand my point.
In the GitHub project is just saying the project uses GitHub. Just consider it as a widely used platform. The fork me thing, is just encouraging people to take part in code development. Nothing more. I don't think people would think this is a way to get official release. Of course, my personal perspective, only.
