The affiliations of the Committers' companies are included in the "Required Resources#Affiliations" section. Apart from Alibaba and Ant Group, they come from companies such as TongDun, EWorld, 360, TruthAI, DaShenLin, JD, Helios, and others. It is a community with a diverse group of Committers. > Regarding risks, you mention that a large number of companies use the > project, but they seem reliant on Alibaba and Ant Group. What would happen if > one of these companies changed direction and decided to no longer contribute > to the project? The technical development of the Seata community is driven by the community itself, and it strives to create a technologically neutral community whose direction of development relies on the consensus mechanism of the community. Even if colleagues from Alibaba and Ant Group are no longer involved, it will not affect the development of the community. The possibility of such an incident occurring is almost impossible, as within Alibaba and Ant Group, Seata has already been used as a critical infrastructure application in order transaction and payment scenarios. > Many companies have their own forks of the project. Why are they currently > developing outside the project? The Seata community is very willing to accept and often merge the PRs submitted by other companies. There are many reasons why they choose to keep their contributions as private forks and not contribute to the project. Common reasons include: personalized needs, company policies, or private infrastructure, etc. > What will happen to the website at Seata.io <http://seata.io/> after the > project joins teh ASF? The domain seata.io will be CNAME to the subdomain allocated to Seata by Apache. The existing content of the official website will be migrated to the new official website. The new display content will be modified according to Apache's requirements for project websites. > You say that no CCLAs from other companies are needed, but you have listed > several people with their affiliations in the initial committer list.
