In this patch is not "for free", but in cost of fast execution fast path
slowing down. I prefer to keep it is now (and of course remember about
hypothetical issue).

And status string message would be better to generically. Such solution
is cleaner, not much harder and should be beneficial and useful in
general (and for redirection cases too).
