No. Sorry but I didn't expli\ain myself at all well. I'm using the
digital TV service but an Amiga via a conventional analogue modem
(Pace) and C&W phone line.

Agreed, nor am I but I thought it useful to point out the
shortcomings.

Beats me but I haven' t the time to explore it. I should try another
ISP to see if the problem lies there or with the line I guess.
