I have never come across an ISP that did not work with GENESiS.
Now it happened. If I try to log in into CompuserveOffice (a German
CallByCall offer from Compuserve) I get a PAP Authentication Failure.
If I use MiamiDX (unreg.) it works, with one exception:
MiamiDX tells me something that the DNS Retrace (or something like this) is
badly configured at the ISP, so I do not get a hostname assigned.
The AmiTCP whoami results in something like:
whoami: no hostname assigned with id1.i-entered-hostname-manually.net
Please, help. I am standing on my nerves. I fool around for hours now, and
the hotline only knows Windows.
I have set up all according to the Unix install info from their web-page. So
the problem is not on my side. Or is it ?
