OS are as much vulnerable as its administrator is a moron (oops, my English 
suck, but you know what I mean.) That's it. Period.

KDE does remote desktop easy. Check it out when you have time.

BTW, on Linux you can "ssh -X remotehost" and run applications on the remote 
end on, both CLI and GUI based apps. I couldn't ssh into a windows machine 
and get output from netstat for exaple, how useful is that?
