-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Thanks for your comments. I read a couple forum posts that laptop users preferred mm-sources over the development-sources. As soon as OpenOffice.org 1..1 finish compiling, I will compile the 2.6 kernel.
Since I want to keep my 2.4.22 kernels, what should I do to make sure I do not lose the config files for these kernels? When I upgraded from 2.4 to 2.4.22, I remember removing the old configs in /usr/src/linux. Will I do the same. I read in the a couple people mentioning to cd into /usr/src/linux-beta and compiling from there.
