Fetchmail setup is about as simple as simple > gets and the OP may not have been aware of that option. Hall was right, my ISP offers POP as the only option. Setting up another computer to act only as a mail server seems a bit too much for me. I guess I'll try at least Mozilla and Opera, perhaps KMail & Eudora combo too.
