I am trying to download the Live-DVD now the second time with the aid of wget.
I am using a very slow line only while being far away from home and preparing
for an installation of gentoo instead of my former debian-linux.
Question:
is the published MD5-hash still valid?
After downloading the first time it did not have the correct MD5SUM so I started another
instance of wget and I am downloading now again.
Further, how big is the resulting file exactly?
I am downloading from this location:
http://mirror.switch.ch/ftp/mirror/gentoo//releases/amd64/20121221/livedvd-amd64-multilib-20121221.iso
My wget- configuration looks like this:
wget --tries=0 --waitretry=1000 –retry-connrefused -o wget_logfile.txt --continue
