In fact, it did not recognise the net driver. I had to do the instalation with 
an USB wireless stick and patch the SIS driver to be able to get my ehternet 
working. These are the threads.

The point is that, while the SystemRescueCD and Sabayon recognized my hard 
disk, the gentoo-live-cd was unable to do so. This is probably because the 
hardware is too new, and I expect, as Jorge Manuel said, that this will be 
solved with the new 2007.1 live cd.
