Ciao Adrian, I have investigated a bit and I guess that the problem may reside in the new gt-imagemosaic-jbc which is declaring a plain dependency toward imageio and jai while it should be declared with provided scope. I guess this is why the dependency got pulled in. I would suggest to fix this asap by changing the scope of the dependencies, at least before gt 2.5.3 goes out. What do you think?
